
At the end of February 2018, there was a total of 1.36 million people employed in Croatia, which is down 0.8 percent month-on-month, the national statistics bureau said on Tuesday.
It was the seventh consecutive month in which the number of persons employed fell month-on-month, which is in line with seasonal trends.
According to data from the national employment bureau, there were 190,760 unemployed persons registered at the end of February, down 2.4 percent month-on-month. Registered unemployment rate in February 2018 was 12.3 percent, slightly down from 12.5 percent in January.
