Croatian Chamber of Economy to open office in Belgrade

The Croatian Chamber of Economy (HGK) announced it would open an office in Belgrade on April 18. The largest trade association of Croatian businesses, HGK had first opened a Belgrade office in 2001 before closing it in 2013.

There are currently some 200 Croatian companies doing business in Serbia, and with a 750 million of investments in the Serbian economy, Croatia’s eastern neighbour has become the fourth most important destination for Croatian investors.

In 2016, Serbia and Croatia had a trade exchange worth 904 million, with Serbia recording a surplus of 30.8 million.
