A member of the group of volunteers taking care of the migrants situated in Sarajevo, Denisa Steffen told N1 that they reached an agreement with the Bosnian Security Ministry to move the migrants from a park in Sarajevo to a safe location near Mostar.
“Busses should arrive tomorrow morning at 8 am. We’re going to a place near Mostar. I will be here at 6 am to help them pack their tents and things. We’ve also prepared lunch packages for the trip,” said Steffen.
She added that the agreement was made with the Ministry of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina whose officials visited her this morning and agreed to move the migrants. According to her, most of them are happy to move and finally sleep in a home, instead of sleeping in the open.
The volunteers’ claims were confirmed to N1 by the Security Minister Dragan Mektic in a telephone call.
