A survey conducted by the ManpowerGroup shows that 29% of employers in Croatia expect an increase in the number of their employees in the next three months, and Croatia fares well in the latest ManpowerGroup Employment Outlook Survey.

Apart from those employers who expect more people on their payrolls in the coming period, 66% of those polled do not expect any change in employment in their companies, and 3 percent believe the number of their employees will fall.

This leading global staffing firm reports that prospects look bright for jobseekers globally and that “the most optimistic hiring plans” are reported in Croatia, Taiwan, Japan, Hungary and the US.

The ManPower Croatia director, Nebojsa Biskup, has recently said that he expects a rise in employment in the coming quarter in all four Croatian regions and all eight industrial sectors.

The most robust rate in job creation is expected in western Croatia in the hospitality and tourism sectors, Biskup said.

“Employers reporting the strongest outlooks are in Croatia (+29) (added to the global survey for the first time) followed by Hungary (+18), Greece (+16) and Turkey (+16),” reads the report.

Over 59,000 employers have been surveyed across 44 countries and territories. Confidence levels have strengthened year-on-year in 25 countries, weakened in 13 and remained the same in five.
