Croatia is one of the fastest growing tourist destinations on the US market and next year a two-digit increase in US tourist arrivals is expected, according to the director of the national tourism board main office, Kristjan Stancic.
Stancic said this at the biggest annual meeting of the United States Tour Operators Association (USTOA), that was held in Phoenix on November 27-30.
Stancic said the USTOA Annual Conference & Marketplace was an important event and an opportunity to hold talks with key partners such as TravelZoo, Collette, Holiday Vacations, Cox and Kings, The Travel Corporation and Stride Travel.
Reiterating that Croatia expected a two digit-growth in arrivals of American tourists in 2019, Stancic said the new direct flight Philadelphia-Dubrovnik was expected to help increase the number of tourists arriving from the States.
