The average net salary paid in Croatia in December 2018 was 6,262 kuna (€846), up by 4 percent from twelve months ago, the state statistics bureau said on Wednesday.

Month-on-month, the average net salary inched up 0.7 percent from November 2018, and the statistics bureau added that the median salary in December was 5,425 kuna (€733).

Over the entire twelve-month period from January to December 2018, the average net salary was put at 6,242 kuna (€843) or 2.8 percent up from the same period in 2017.
