Croatian PM, Chinese public security minister talk stronger cooperation

Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic and Chinese Public Security Minister Zhao Kezhi met on Thursday to talk about intensifying the political, economic and security cooperation between the two countries.

Zhao was visiting Zagreb a little over a month after Chinese PM Li Keqiang did so, the government said in a press release.

Zhao said he was pleased with the cooperation with Croatia in many areas.

In order to attract more Chinese tourists, there was talk about sending six Chinese police officers to Croatia for joint patrols with Croatian police during the summer.

Also present the meeting were Croatian Interior Minister Davor Bozinovic and representatives of his ministry, who later held a separate meeting with the Chinese delegation.
