Croatian Foreign Minister Marija Pejcinovic Buric on Tuesday met with North Macedonia's deputy prime minister for European affairs and chief negotiator with the EU, Bujar Osmani, her ministry said.
The two officials expressed satisfaction with the bilateral relations and friendly cooperation in various areas, with Pejcinovic Buric saying Croatia remains a reliable partner to North Macedonia to which it provides political and technical support in its Euro-Atlantic integration, the ministry said.
The two officials discussed Croatia’s successful support to North Macedonia through twinning projects as well as future cooperation aimed at strengthening North Macedonia’s public administration and preparations for EU accession negotiations.
Pejcinovic Buric said Croatia would continue to strongly push for further steps in North Macedonia’s EU integration, the ministry said.
