The Croatian Interior Ministry stated on Monday that barriers had been set up at the Maljevac border crossing and that foundations for the barriers at the Gejkovac and Pasin Potok had been laid down, explaining that this is in line with the Schengen catalogue for the external borders' control.

The removable barriers were installed by the finance ministry which is in charge of the construction and maintenance of border crossings, and the installment has been performed at the request of the Interior Ministry, according to the press release.

Maljevac, Gejkovac and Pasin Potok are border crossings with the northwestern region of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
