The AD Plastik Group, a leading Croatian plastic car parts manufacturer, has concluded new contracts valued €46.5 million with its Russian clients, the Solin-based factory reported on Tuesday.
According to a press release issued on the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) the Croatian company has sealed new deals with a total value of EUR 46.5 million in the Russian market for various vehicle models.
“New deals worth EUR 24 million have been sealed with the Renault-Nissan-AvtoVAZ Alliance for the new vehicle model Lada Granta that will be produced in their plant in Togliatti,” says the press release explaining that headliners, vehicle chassis covers, mud flaps and rear bumper covers will be produced for that vehicle in the AD Plastik Togliatti plant.
“Apart from that, additional deals on headliner production worth EUR 12 million have been sealed with the same customer for the new vehicle models Renault Logan and Sandero.”
The serial production for these models is due to start in the second and third quarters of 2021, with an estimated project duration of eight years.
“New deals worth EUR 10.5 million have been sealed with the customer Volkswagen for the vehicles VW Tarek and Skoda Karoq. AD Plastik Kaluga will be producing trunk trims for these models, and the start of
serial production is planned for the end of 2020 with an estimated project duration of seven years,” according to the press release.
In mid-July AD Plastik agreed €71.4 million worth of deals in Russia for the production of components for the Renault-Nissan-AvtoVAZ alliance.
