PM Plenkovic presents priorities of Croatian EU presidency to AmCham delegation

Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic met with a delegation of the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) to the European Union in Zagreb on Monday, outlining the priorities of the Croatian presidency of the European Union in the first half of next year, a government press release said.

The prime minister also presented the government’s achievements in fiscal consolidation and in creating an effective and stimulating business and investment environment.

The AmCham delegation, who are on a working visit to Croatia from November 4 to 6, offered their experience to Croatia and presented their policies which can be divided into four priority areas: empowering people, boosting the single market, leading global cooperation and investing in the future.

The American Chamber of Commerce to the European Union speaks for American business committed to Europe on trade, investment and competitiveness issues. It aims to ensure a growth-oriented business and investment climate in Europe.
