Montenegro confirms 21 new cases of Covid-19, bringing its total to 144

Of the 143 persons the Montenegrin Public Health Institute tested for Covid-19 on Thursday, 21 were positive, bringing the total to 144 since the first case was reported on March 17.

Two deaths have been recorded and 20 persons are hospitalised, including two on ventilators. No patient has recovered yet.

On Thursday evening, a national coordination team amended a decision banning people from leaving their homes after 7 p.m. on weekdays and from 1 p.m. on Saturdays until Monday morning. Under the amendment, they are allowed to stay outside until 1 p.m. on Sundays.
