North Macedonia Health Care Minister Venko Filipce said on Tuesday that five more people had died of coronavirus related ailments, bringing the total to 26.

The minister said in a Facebook post that 29 new coronavirus cases had been confirmed over the previous 24 hours.

The total number of confirmed cases in North Macedonia now stands at 599.

Filipce said that 254 of the confirmed cases are in the capital Skoplje.
