Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic says his son tested positive for coronavirus

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Wednesday evening that his son Danilo (22) had tested positive for the coronavirus.

In a short post on his personal Instagram account, Vucic said that Danilo had tested positive and was hospitalised at the Infectious Diseases Clinic in Belgrade.

“When this all started, my Danilo told me that surrender is not an option. My firstborn son is infected with the coronavirus and his condition is such that he was admitted to the Infectious Diseases Clinic (in Belgrade). ” Vucic wrote.

According to figures released by Serbia’s health authorities on Wednesday, a total of 2,666 cases have been confirmed in Serbia since the outbreak started, including 65 deaths.
