The National Civil Protection Authority on Tuesday informed that due to the favourable epidemiological situation, it has recommended lifting the ban on Sunday trading.

“Due to the favourable epidemiological situation, the amendment to the decision on working hours in retail during the Covid-19 epidemic lifts the ban on Sunday trading, while general anti-epidemic measures and special instructions and recommendations by the Croatian Institute for Public Health remain in place,” Croatia’s Covid-19 crisis management team said in a press release.

The authority also amended its decision related to farmers’ markets for the duration of the coronavirus epidemic.

Farmers markets are permitted to sell flowers and other products that were sold prior to the restrictions.
