Eight new coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Slovenia after 440 tests had been performed over the last 24 hours, the first single-digit rise in a week, the government said on Monday.
The total number of cases identified since the start of the outbreak has now increased to 1,848, and 245 cases are still active.
Seventeen infected people are still being treated in two Covid-19 hospitals, in Ljubljana and Maribor, and one of them is in intensive care. The death toll remains at 111.
Among the cases confirmed in the last 24 hours, two persons are aged between 15 and 24, two are in the 35-40 age group, one is between 45 and 54 years old, one is in the 55-64 age group, one in the 65-74 age group and one in the 75-84 age group.
