Bosnian health authorities reported record-breaking 346 new Covid-19 cases, 197 from the Bosniak-Croat shared Federation (FBiH) entity and 146 from the Serb-dominated Republika Srpska (RS) entity, over the past 24 hours. Brcko District also reported three new cases. The authorities added there were five virus-related fatalities.
The FBiH health authorities said they tested 1,126 samples of which 197 came back positive. The entity also recorded two virus-related fatalities.
The RS health authorities said they tested 655 samples of which 146 tested positive for SARS-COV-2. This entity recorded two virus-related fatalities.
The authorities in the northern Brcko District, not dominated by either of the three constituent peoples, reported three new cases and one fatality caused by Covid-19.
According to the state Civil Affairs Ministry Bosnia recorded 9,462 cases of Covid-19 since the outbreak of the pandemic in the country, of which 4,367 patients recovered and 274 had died.
