Over the past 24 hours 238 new coronavirus have been confirmed in Slovenia, out of 3,281 tests, and two Covid-19 patients have died, the government said on Friday.
That was 17 new cases more than the day before and a new daily record after 203 new cases, after 3,391 tests, were confirmed on Tuesday.
In the last 24 hours, the largest number of new cases (42) has been registered in the capital Ljubljana. Currently there are 1,908 active cases in the country.
Eighty-six people are currently hospitalised for Covid-19, including 15 in intensive care, according to Health Ministry data.
Since the start of the coronavirus epidemic, Slovenia has registered 6,103 cases and 154 deaths.
