More than 300 new coronavirus cases reported in Bosnia and Herzegovina

More than 300 people have tested positive for the coronavirus in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the past 24 hours, healthcare institutions reported on Sunday.

Of the 845 people tested for the virus in Bosnia’s Federation (FBiH) entity since the day before, 179 were positive, the FBiH Public Health Institute said. No COVID-19 fatalities were reported in FBiH.

In the other semi-autonomous entity in Bosnia, Republika Srpska (RS), 438 people were tested and 123 of them were positive. One person also died due to COVID-19 in the RS.

About 30,000 people have tested positive for the coronavirus in Bosnia and Herzegovina since the beginning of the epidemic and more than 23,000 of them recovered so far.

More than 900 people have passed away due to COVID-19 in the country.
