In September 2020, the retail trade turnover in Croatia dropped 7.3% on the year, marking the seventh consecutive month of decline year on year, albeit slower than in August (-8.6%), the State Bureau of Statistics said on Friday.
Month on month, the retail trade turnover decreased 1.8%.
The retail trade turnover of food, beverages and tobacco decreased by 6.4%, while the retail trade turnover of non-food products (except automotive fuels and lubricants) decreased by 2.7%.
In the first nine months, the retail trade turnover decreased in real terms by 6.9% compared to the same period of the previous year.
