Bosnian health officials reported 1,777 new Covid-19 cases on Wednesday, along with record 41 virus-related fatalities.
The country’s Federation (FBiH) entity reported 1,234 new cases after testing 3,350 samples for the new coronavirus. The entity’s Public Health Institute said they recorded 16 deaths caused by the virus.
The Republika Srpska (RS) region said they registered 500 new cases of the disease after testing 1,034 suspected samples. This entity also reported having 23 fatalities over the last 24 hours.
The hardest-hit city is Sarajevo once again with a total of 323 confirmed cases.
Brcko District reported 43 new Covid-19 cases over the past 24 hours and two fatalities.
Yesterday the country recorded 1,552 coronavirus cases.
The country’s Civil Affairs Ministry will publish complete data later during the day.
