A total of 3,432 tests for coronavirus have been conducted in Slovenia in the past 24 hours, of which 1,024 have returned positive and 26 patients have died as a consequence of infection with the virus, the Slovenian government said on Sunday.
This is 600 fewer infections than on Saturday when 31 patients died, but the scope of testing was much smaller, as is usual on weekends.
The share of positive tests today was again slightly higher, at 29.84%.
The total number of people who have caught the disease since the onset of the epidemic has grown to 65,308, there are 20,119 active cases and the 14-day incidence is 960 per 100,000 inhabitants.
The death toll now stands at 1,052.
