The police in Bosnia and Herzegovina on Wednesday conducted an operation to break up a ring of smugglers who have been transporting illegal migrants from northwestern Bosnia to Croatia.

The ring has so far transported hundreds of migrants to Croatia after they arrived in Bosnia and Herzegovina from the Middle and Far East or North Africa.

The prosecutorial authorities indict the smugglers for having transported irregular migrants across the border in the region from Bihac to Bosanska Gradiska.

The evidence has been collected proving that the smugglers have obtained huge illegal gain and that they have tried to launder some of the illegally obtained money.
