Croatia's industrial producer prices in November down 3.6 pct y-o-y

Croatia's industrial producer prices continued to decline on an annual level in November 2020, dropping by 3.6% from November 2019 and increasing by 0.3% from October 2020, according to data released by the state statistics bureau on Thursday.

The downward trend began in March this year, when industrial producer prices declined by 2.7% compared with March 2019. The largest decrease, of 6.6%, was recorded in May.

Excluding energy prices, producer prices in November increased by 0.2% on the month and fell by 0.1% on the year.

On the foreign market, industrial producer prices rose by 0.3% on the month and dropped by 5.3% on the year. On the domestic market, prices went up by 0.3% compared with October and declined by 2.3% compared with November 2019.

Broken down main industrial groupings, compared with October 2020, prices of capital goods rose by 0.8%, prices of energy by 0.7%, and prices of intermediate goods, durable and non-durable consumer goods increased by 0.1% respectively.

Compared with November 2019, prices of capital goods rose by 0.6% and those of non-durable consumer goods by 0.1%, while prices of energy declined by 15.5%, prices of durable consumer goods by 1.3% and prices of intermediate goods by 0.6%.
