In the past 24 hours 1,124 coronavirus cases have been registered in Slovenia, with 22.8% of the tests coming back positive, and ten more Covid patients have died, the government said on Thursday. Pročitaj više

The seven-day average of infections in one day has fallen to 1,122 and the 14-day incidence to 792. Hospitalizations have dropped to 642, with 206 patients in intensive care. The death toll has reached 5,528, according to Health Ministry data.

Despite the improvement of the situation, chief epidemiologist Mateja Logar recommended reducing the number of contacts over the coming holidays to a minimum and spending them with one’s family due to caution over the spread of the Omicron variant.

As of today, shopping centers must limit the number of visitors.
