Croatian taxi cab company Cammeo plans to expand its franchise business into Serbia's capital Belgrade, Serbian media reported on Thursday (March 22).

Already present in 30 cities in Croatia and Slovenia with its own taxi cab service, Cammeo’s strategy also includes franchise operations, with Belgrade to be their next market.

Cammeo’s franchise partners will only be existing licensed Belgrade cabbies, as city authorities have limited the number of licensed taxis serving the Serbian capital, specialised portal franchising.rs reported.

“As all partners of the Cammeo franchise, our Belgrade franchisees can count on our technical support. Apart from organising the service’s dispatch centre and sales, we will also help drivers finance new vehicles. In return, we keep a certain percentage of franchisee’s profits,” said the company.

Franchisees will also get a modern software system already used by Cammeo drivers, accompanied by smartphone apps allowing users to order taxis in just two clicks.
