In March 2018, consumer prices in Croatia increased by 0.6 percent compared to February and by 1.1 percent compared to the same month the year before, state statistics bureau said on Tuesday.
By sector, the largest year-on-year increases were recorded in the restaurant and hotel industry prices (3.6 percent), followed by the housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels category (2.8 percent). Alcohol and tobacco prices rose by 2.5 percent, and prices of health services were up by 1.4 percent.
Compared with February 2018, consumer prices increased by 0.6 percent, after inching down for three months in a row. The highest month-on-month price increases were in clothing and footwear (12.9 percent) and health services (1.1 percent).
