Croatian Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Marija Pejcinovic-Buric said, commenting the commemoration for victims of the World War II’s Jasenovac concentration camp, that the time has come to hold one single commemoration at this site.
Speaking for N1, Pejcinovic-Buric noted that the Croatian Government mourned every life that was lost there.
“We think it is not good to manipulate victims, Serbia’s side is still doing that. Once this is no longer done, the relations will become better,” she added.
According to her, the Croatian Government put effort and made a step towards reconciliation.
“We believe that we showed enough of the good will and this year one commemoration could have been held,” concluded Pejcinovic-Buric.
