The Croatian Parliament Speaker, Gordan Jandrokovic, was received by the Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden at the end of his two-day visit to Sweden on Thursday, the parliament said in a press release.
During the audience with Princess Victoria, Jandrokovic spoke about Croatia’s experiences as a member of the European Union. They also discussed the countries’ cooperation in the tourism sector.
Jandrokovic said he was grateful for the warm welcome extended to the Croatian delegation on their official reciprocal visit to Sweden, at the invitation of the Swedish Parliament Speaker, Urban Ahlin.
During the two-day visit, the Croatian delegation has also met with the Stockholm mayor, Eva-Louise Erlandsson Slorach. They discussed sustainable urban development in Stockholm, and possible cooperation with Zagreb in that field.
In a meeting with the Swedish Migration Minister, Helene Fritzon, Jandrokovic talked about European migration politics, and asked for Sweden’s support in Croatia’s entering the Schengen Area.
