Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said he has not yet received an invitation to attend the inauguration of Russian President Vladimir Putin but that he might receive it in the next two or three days.
The President said there was nothing wrong with the fact that Milorad Dodik, the President of the Serb sub-state in Bosnia, Republika Srpska, was invited and that he was not.
“Serbia is an independent country when it comes to making decisions. Serbia’s choice is the EU membership path, friendship with Russia, China and Turkey,” Vucic said.
Asked about whether he will be invited to Moscow to attend the Victory Day parade on May 9, Vucic said that he hopes he will.
