The Leader of the Serbian Radical Party and war-crimes convict, Vojislav Seselj, has bought a house in Hrtkovci – a village considered a synonym for the exodus of ethnic Croats, the local Blic newspaper reported.

“The leader of the Radicals returns among the people he expelled,” reads the title of the article, saying Seselj bought property located in the Skolska street, in the very centre of the village in the Vojvodina region, only 300 metres away from the Saint Clement Catholic church.

According to Blic, Seselj bought the house in the name of his son, Mihailo, and the contract was signed on Friday at a public notary in Ruma.

The President of the Democratic Union of Croats in Vojvodina, Tomislav Zigmanov, said Seselj’s purchase causes “discomposure” among the remaining ethnic Croats living in the village.
