The 28th anniversary of the slaughter in Doljani in northern Herzegovina, one of the most severe crimes which members of the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina committed against Croats during the 1990s war, was marked on Saturday with the lighting of candles and laying wreaths ceremonies and Holy Mass.
Twenty five years ago, Bosniak forces executed 39 Croat civilians and members of the Croat Defence Council, prisoners of war.
Bosnia and Herzegovina Army General Sefer Halilovic was tried for this crime by the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia but was acquitted.
