Croatian Parliament Speaker Gordan Jandrokovic on Thursday received incoming Israeli Ambassador to Croatia Ilan Mor, wishing him a successful term in Croatia, parliament said in a press release.
All Croatian institutions, including the national parliament, have always been open to promotion of cooperation with Israel, Jandrokovic said according to the press release.
He said he was confident the two countries would continue their friendly and partner-like relations in the future.
Jandrokovic once again extended his invitation to the Knesset president to visit Croatia, expressing hope the visit would take place soon after the parliamentary election in Israel.
Jandrokovic and Mor talked about possibilities for boosting bilateral cooperation, notably on the economic front.
Mor is stepping into office following a failed Croatia-Israel deal on the purchase of US-made F-16 aircraft from Israel.
