Divers from Croatia and Slovenia on Sunday joined forces and cleaned up the seabed on both sides of the northern Adriatic Savudrija Bay, which is shared by the two countries, in this way marking World Environment Day, June 5.
Participating in the cleanup, held under the slogan “Cleaning without borders”, were 200 divers who collected sea waste off the Slovenian coastal town of Piran and the Veli Joze camping site on the Croatian part of the bay.
