Almost two thousands of participants took to the central streets of Sarajevo on Sunday to attend the first Bosnian Pride Parade.
The LGBTIQ activists and other participants walked from the Eternal Flame memorial down the central Titova street to the State Parliament’s building.
The march was held under the slogan ‘Ima izać’!’ roughly translated as ‘coming out’.
Strong police forces secured the event.
“We are making history for Bosnia and Herzegovina,” said one of the organisers after they reached the final spot.
No incident has been reported.
