“A total of 18 confirmed cases of coronavirus have been registered in Serbia as of 8:00 pm on March 11, 2020,” the ministry’s covid19.rs website said.
The press release added that the country’s top laboratory at the Torlak Institute had tested a total of 151 people who showed symptoms of coronavirus infection.
Earlier on Wednesday, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said that indoor events attended by more than 100 people were banned and appealed for people who had been in the countries worst affected by the coronavirus outbreak to contact their local medical centers.
