The two tremors that were felt in Zagreb around 10 am on Thursday measured 3.2 and 2.3 on the Richter scale, the Croatian Seismological Service said.
The epicentre of the tremors, registered at 9.52 and 9.59 am, was in the northeastern suburb of Markusevec. The tremors were felt throughout Zagreb.
The European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) reported that the 3.5-strong quake had been recorded in Zagreb and that it was followed by a weaker tremor a few minutes later.
Zagreb suffered extensive damage in a 5.5 magnitude earthquake on 22 March. Since then a number of aftershocks have been felt in and around the city.
