There have been six new cases of the infection with coronavirus in Slovenia in the last 24 hours, the Slovenian government reported on Thursday.

Since the outbreak of the infection, 1,547 people in Slovenia have been diagnosed with this infection.

Currently, seven Covid-19 patients are being treated in hospitals, including two in intensive care units.

The coronavirus-related death toll stands at 111. In Slovenia, wearing protective masks on public transport and in closed areas is mandatory.

It is also mandatory to wear masks in churches, the Slovenian Catholic Bishops’ Conference has stated.
