Sanjin Musa, who heads the public health epidemiological service in Bosnia's Federation entity on Friday told a press conference that the coornavirus situation had improved over the past ten days and the start of the school year had not particularly accelerated the spread of the disease.

Assistant Health Minister in the Federation entity, Goran Cerkez said that the existing measures and restrictions would be extended to October 15 however agreement had been reached to increase the number of spectators in cinemas and theatres from 50 to 70.

He added that 2,000 spectators would also be allowed to attend a football match between the national team against Northern Ireland which was to have been played in March.

“That will be a good experiment. We will monitor the situation for fifteen days and if everything turns out for the best then we might consider allowing spectators to attend other matches and for all sports played outdoors,” said Cerkez.
