According to Bosnian health authorities, the country recorded 621 new cases of coronavirus, on Friday, along with eight deaths caused by the disease.
The country’s Federation (FBiH) entity reported 371 new cases after testing 1,759 samples for the new coronavirus. The entity’s Public Health Institute said they recorded six deaths caused by the new coronavirus.
The Republika Srpska (RS) region said they registered 242 new cases of the disease after testing 716 suspected samples. This entity also reported having two fatalities over the last 24 hours.
The State Civil Affairs Ministry is expected to publish the updated data for the entire country later in the day.
The hardest-hit city is Sarajevo once again with a total of 124 confirmed cases.
According to the State Civil Affairs Ministry, the country has so far confirmed 32,845 Covid-19 cases, of which 24,603 have recovered and 980 had died.
The country currently has 7,262 active cases, the Ministry said.
