Coronavirus: Bosnia reports more than 1,300 new cases, over 50 deaths

More than 1,300 new Covid-19 patients have been confirmed on Friday in Bosnia and Herzegovina out of nearly 4,000 lab test performed by healthcare authorities.

The Federation (FBiH) entity logged 770 new patients out of 2,451 lab tests conducted, while the entity Republika Srpska (RS) confirmed 511 out of 1,286 lab tests were positive for the coronavirus. Brcko District performed 117 coronavirus tests with 51 positive outcomes.

The country’s coronavirus death toll now stands at 1,808 with 58 fatalities reported in the last 24 hours.

The total of 366,395 samples was tested for the novel coronavirus since the epidemic outbreak across Bosnia and Herzegovina, and 69,625 were confirmed positive.

According to official data, 34,491 patients have recovered to date.
