The main Zagreb Stock Exchange indices surged on Monday, the Crobex by 1.96% to 1,673 points, its highest level since mid-June, and the Crobex10 by 1.88% to 1,048, its highest level since early March.
Regular turnover was HRK 25.6 million, 15 million more than on Friday.
The most traded stock was the preferred share of the Adris tourism and insurance group, turning over nearly HRK 6 million. It closed at HRK 378, up 2.72%.
The Valamar Riviera tourism company turned over HRK 5.43 million. It was the gainer of the day, closing at HRK 28.1 per share, up 8.91%.
Two other stocks crossed the million kuna mark. Privredna Banka turned over almost HRK 1.64 million, closing at HRK 840, up 5%. Atlantic Grupa turned over HRK 1.63 million, closing at HRK 1,300, down 0.76%.
Forty-four stocks were traded today, with 26 gaining, eight losing and ten registering the same price as on Friday.
