Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic met on Monday with Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Tahiri, the government said in a press release.

The meeting, at which good bilateral relations between the two countries were confirmed, was an opportunity to exchange thoughts on the current situation in Kosovo and the neighbourhood.

Prime Minister Plenkovic underlined that there is room for further development of economic relations with Kosovo in numerous areas and that Croatia will actively help Kosovo on its European journey.

There was also talk about the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic and the possibility of the European Union helping Kosovo and other southeast European countries to obtain vaccines, the press release said.
