Serbia's Health Ministry said on Monday, that over the last 24 hours, 55 patients died of the coronavirus-related ailments, bringing the total number of deaths to 1,604, while out of 17,093 tested people 6,224 were confirmed infected with the coronavirus.
A mortality rate stood at 0,91 percent.
Since the outbreak of the epidemic, 1,777,582 people have been tested, and 175,438 samples have come back positive.
The Ministry said 7,368 patients were hospitalised, and 253 of them on ventilators on Monday.
