Another 1,843 coronavirus infections, 60 COVID-19 deaths reported in Bosnia

A total of 1,843 new coronavirus infections were reported and 60 COVID-19 patients passed away in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the past 24 hours, while 275 patients recovered, healthcare authorities reported on Saturday.

Of the 3,012 people tested in Bosnia’s Federation (FBiH) entity since Friday, 1,239 were positive for the virus and 36 died due to the disease.

In the other semi-autonomous entity, Republika Srpska (RS), 553 of the 1,343 people tested were positive and 22 COVID-19 patients died.

Bosnia’s Brcko District also reported 51 new infections and two COVID-19 fatalities.

A total of 163,875 people have tested positive for the virus in BiH since the beginning of the pandemic and 128,516 of them have recovered so far.
The COVID-19 death toll is 6,280.

There are currently 29,079 active coronavirus cases in the country.
