Bosnia receives over 170,000 mRNA vaccine doses

Bosnia’s Civil Affairs Ministry announced the reception of some 170,000 doses of Covid vaccines Friday, namely from Pfizer and Moderna.

“In the two past days, MoCA imported: 100,620 doses of BioNTech/Pfizer vaccine – a donation from the Republic of Slovenia, on October 20 and 70,000 doses of Moderna vaccine – a donation from the Republic of Croatia, on October 21. For the first time BIH has both mRNA vaccines,” the Ministry tweeted.

Only 15.57 percent out of 3.2 million Bosnians have been fully vaccinated so far. Meanwhile, entity officials have announced that large quantities of vector vaccines are going to waste.
