A total of 2,601 people tested positive for the coronavirus and 40 COVID-19 patients passed away in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the past 24 hours, healthcare authorities said on Wednesday.
Of the 3,926 people tested in Bosnia’s Federation (FBiH) entity since Tuesday, 1,839 were confirmed positive for the virus and 22 patients died from the disease.
In the other semi-autonomous entity, Republika Srpska (RS), 1,126 people were tested and 573 of them were confirmed infected, while 16 patients died.
Bosnia’s Brcko District registers 189 new infections and two COVID-19 fatalities.
