Healthcare authorities reported on Tuesday that 761 new coronavirus infections and 62 Covid-19 fatalities were registered in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the past 24 hours.
In Bosnia’s federation (FBiH) entity, 472 of the 2,466 people tested for the virus since Monday were positive and 43 Covid-19 patients passed away.
In the other semi-autonomous entity, Republika Srpska (RS), 735 people were tested and 227 of them were positive, while 17 passed away due to the disease.
Bosnia’s Brcko District also registered 62 new infections and two Covid-19 fatalities.
A total of 196,732 people have tested positive for the virus in Bosnia since the beginning of the pandemic and 157,095 have recovered so far.
The Covid-19 death toll is 8,418.
There are currently 31,219 active coronavirus cases in Bosnia.
