Over the last 24 hours, 23 patients died from COVID-19-related complications and out of 16,372 tested, 1,949 were infected with the coronavirus in Serbia, the Health Ministry said on Thursday.
To date, COVID-19 has officially claimed 12,688 lives in the country. The mortality rate is 0.98 percent.
Currently, 2,077 people are in hospitals, of whom 91 are on ventilators.
Since the epidemic outbreak in March 2020, 7,221,585 people have been tested, and 1,297,147 have been confirmed positive for the coronavirus.
