The Serbian Health Ministry said in its daily 3:00 pm bulletin on Wednesday that 37 people died of coronavirus-related ailments over the previous 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths to 5,039.
It said that 17,684 people had been tested over the previous 24 hours, including 5,927 who tested positive for the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.
The total number of people tested to date stands at 3,313,232 with 566,669 confirmed cases.
The bulletin said that there are 6,349 hospitalized cases, including 243 patients on ventilators.
